Pros

There are some really great people in mid-level positions and the salary is average.

Cons

No one can explain what the company does or is good at. You'll never hear the managers say "Hire people smarter than you", "Listen to everyone's ideas", "B-level work is bad for your soul" or "It's more important to invest in good people than good ideas". Programmed talks a lot about safety, but does nothing to implement safe work environments where employees feel supported and secure in voicing proactive opinions. Most of the leadership team are white men. The company talks about diversity and promoting women, but I found the company to be misogynistic. The women in leadership roles are trotted out for 'International Women's Day', and people of colour are used fairly frequently for 'diversity' photos. Some of the managers put themselves before their teams.

Pros

Programmed provide a friendly working environment for the most part and and have some good PSAs to work from.

Cons

The role was not as described on arrival. This is a perfect example of a company that is not moving with the times. The systems and processes in place are archaic and is built for back end purposes as apposed to the recruiters who have to actually use the system. The management struggle to keep their personal lives separate from their work life and consequently the mood of the management is a key deciding factor as to whether you are allowed to enjoy your day or not. High turnover off staff.

Pros

Dont know the difference between their head and whats between their legs.

Cons

Dishonest and incompetent. Same errors every week i.e payslips, rosters, double booking, favouritism, biases. If you're happy to be work under these conditions, then its the place for you, but otherwise a complete waste of time. Force you to do inappropriate shifts, if you refuse, they cancel your remaining shifts. if you complain about incorrect pay, the give you minimum hours for the next 3 weeks, bullies, rude, arrogant. don't care about their employees what soever.same mentality throughout the company from managers, to rostering team, to payroll, to after hours team. as an employee we do not have a say in anything, its their way or the highway. promises promises promises, promise 30 hours a week but give you 10-15, 4 hour shifts, then they put blame on the client, client has cut the hours and the shifts, mismanagement across the entire eastern Sydney team.
