Pros

Family-like atmosphere, easy to communicate with upper management, good pay, different day-to-day task keeps the work interesting. In response to a former co-workers bad review, here's what I have to say to someone that did not enjoy his/her time at Progressive Irrigation: Yes, you are working for a small, family-owed business and yes that is the type of atmosphere you can expect. The problem with certain people working in this type of atmosphere is that they forget who their boss is. The owner built this company from the ground up and has every right to dictate the decisions of HIS office. As far as treating his employees unfairly, I completely disagree with those statements of this former employee. The owner has treated me with nothing but kindness since I started working here. I'm a college student and I'm in school from fall-spring, but every break during the year the boss let's me come back to fill in wherever they need help. I'm aware that a select few of former employees have butt heads with the owner because said employees think that they are the boss and run the show, and they apparently don't like it when they find out they aren't. If you want to be the boss, go start your own company. Now, if you want to be treated like a respected employee, show respect and you'll get that in return. I've loved every minute working for Progressive and am extremely grateful for all the opportunities they have provided me.

Cons

I personally cannot find any cons with working at Progressive Irrigation, and I have been working here since the summer of 2012.
