I worked at Q Interactive full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Great team
    Competitive salary
We had a good product relative to competitors

    Cons

We got brought by a company that wanted to canabalize the clients and the accounts receivable.

    Advice to Management

There is none because there is nothing they could have done. Sometimes you just get brought by the wrong people.

    I worked at Q Interactive full-time

    Pros

I worked at Q for quite a long time. Overall, I really liked the people there. There were plenty of hard-working, talented individuals. I learned a lot from many of them. The leadership set a great example.

    Cons

As job cuts happened, morale became quite low among many groups. Being motivated and working hard is difficult when you are surrounded by some people who are mentally checked out.

    Advice to Management

Be more transparent with employees, and communicate the company's goals and financials on a regular basis. If you do any less than this, you are seen as aloof, and the us vs. them mentality is perpetuated.

I worked at Q Interactive full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The company had good leadership and ethics in the beginning but then was sold to very dishonest people.

    Cons

Shady doesn't even begin to describe it. Also laying off 5 new parents in one day.

    Advice to Management

I don't even think this company exists anymore (hope not) so it doesn't matter.

    Pros

Q Interactive has a great team of experienced, smart, dedicated, and resourceful contributors. Although the company's gone through several changes over the past few years, the employees have pulled together to move the company forward and create a fun yet challenging working environment.
