Pros

The team, other than the cto, ceo and cro.

Cons

- ceo is doesn't listen, yells at employees constantly, and sets unrealistic deadlines for developers, and is constantly changing scope for product deliverables - cto just disappeared - there was no warning that she was leaving and she left all of us devs to hold the slack for her - When people step up to help lead, they are ignored unless they are friends with the ceo and cro - Sales teams are selling products that are no way ready for market and this puts more pressure on developers to deliver despite unrealistic deadlines and requirements - no Human Resources - employee concerns are ignored and not encouraged to be voiced - the worst part is feeling like you're being manipulated by the ceo. We came here to work and build a good product, not be screamed at, be left without leadership, be given a fake apology afterward to have it happen again, and worst of all, not be given proper requirements for the products we're building

We strive for a culture where everyone feels empowered to contribute to our collective mission of building valuable video solutions. We’re sorry to learn that this was not your experience, but hope you’re encouraged by a few (of many!) recent changes. To start, we recently hired an engineering leader with a track record of enabling teams to build complex analytics and AI-powered products. We are also actively hiring additional engineering talent as we scale the business and are confident they will positively contribute to our existing product portfolio. In addition to these more recent changes, our business has several long-standing initiatives that foster the culture we strive for every day. For example, in our bi-weekly company All Hands meeting, a different team member delivers updates each week to ensure all employees get a chance to lead the conversation. Further, an ongoing training series covers a range of topics from video production to leadership and provides many professional development opportunities. As a fast-growing startup, we are not committed to perfection, but constant improvement. We find ourselves at an exciting inflection point as we scale and are confident that our best days are ahead of us.

Pros

- Lots of opportunity to make an impact - Great energy across the company - Really intelligent and talented team - Products and services fill a clear need in the market

Cons

- Team is growing and things move fast so it can be tough to keep in sync with other departments - Limited resources only allow so many problems to be addressed at time

Pros

Some very nice people. They will pay you every two weeks.

Cons

High pressure environment with unrealistic expectations and deadlines. Most employees are overworked and underpaid. No clear strategy. CEO is unrelenting when it comes to others seeing things “his way” and is prone to bi-weekly outbursts where he routinely berates his product team, then apologizes, only to repeat his actions a week or two later. Outside of a small handful of employees and advisors, no one really knows if the company plans to be acquired, get our own office, fundraise, etc. Handful of salespeople make good money, but the rest are frustrated. I could keep going, it really is quite the mess.
