Pros
While there are some positive things the cons outweigh the pros. If you are a commercial driver with previous experience they will fast track you through training rather than give you the full training opportunity. You can get the Class B without an obligation to stay on with the company (it's unionized anyway), the benefits are what they are benefits (could be a lot better),
Cons
You quickly learn that you are really not cared about. If you are not liked there are lots of people there that will set you up to fail and will make sure you are blackballed from other transportation endeavors. They just want bodies in seats. Better routes are all designed and given to the people in seniority. The passengers have more priority than the driver. The Union is a joke there. I never had the opportunity to meet the CEO (Hiba Fares) so nothing negative can be said about she but if I'd ever met her she'd know in a minute about the organization in Raleigh. I can't say much for the 6 month business outlook because the company contracts for the city and therefore were obtained at a cheap price. Can't not recommend the job to a friend b/c if they will hire them; people need work to take care of their families. Etc. etc.etc In closing...they know who the anonymous posters on here are.
