Pros

CAREER PROGRESSION - I am in my 4th role within Allocate/RLDatix and just applying for my 5th. Each of these have been or may be a Promotion, which clearly evidences career progression and looking after their employees! PASSION - Not only am I passionate about how I deliver my work to our customers but the Organisation as a whole is hugely passionate for its customers, the work we deliver, the role we play in the Care Industry and generally just ensuring everyone is looked after with the software we produce and the tools we have! COMMITMENT - Having been here for 10 years, the commitment shown to me in terms of career development, ensuring there are opportunities available across different functions has been inspiring. Secondly, the commitment to ensuring we have the best and continue to offer the best software solutions in the market to the Care Industry is even more inspiring. FLEXIBILITY - From day one of my service with Allocate/RLDatix, the ability for working on different projects, with different customers and different internal teams has been brilliant. In addition, having the flexibility of being home-based has also been a real positive when travelling about for work etc.

Cons

Salary can sometimes be less than the averages but made up for with rewards and benefits. I have not always felt this though, due to career progression, so this is stemmed from conversations over the years!

Pros

Management appears to mean well, they're just out of touch and not involved enough. Work, life balance is actually descent as doing as little as possible just to get code out the door is completely acceptable, if you can rush code no matter how many bugs you generate doing so, you have lots of free time. Great place for developers that just want to coast!

Cons

Development teams and especially product, project management are downright toxic. People are quitting constantly. No one currently there built any of their applications due to attrition, so current teams don't even really know how anything works, nor do they have the skills, desire or time allotted to learn. The assembly line pace of superficial, rushed features providing little benefit is completely overshadowed by the amount of tech debt generated to rush releases. All productivity is tied to meeting points per sprint so developers rarely implement best practices, they do as little as possible to get it out the door and are willing to do use horrible development practices that should never be part of any SDLC. All resulting in an already mediocre (at best) product getting worse and newer applications, built on better architecture meeting the same fate ultimately.

Thank you for your feedback on your experience working for RLDatix. It is regretful that you may have observed behaviours which are inconsistent with our values and standards of conduct. RLDatix has undergone tremendous growth in a fairly short span of time and we are rapidly and aggressively aligning our Product & Software Development practices to facilitate collaboration among stakeholders as well as enable integration across the RLDatix portfolio. We have also recently completed a company-wide & anonymous Engagement pulse and are actively addressing identified points of friction and constructive points of feedback. We would be happy to discuss any specific circumstances that you encountered. Please feel free to reach out and I'm happy to organize a call with our CTO.

Pros

These is a lot of flexibility and the benefits are good.

Cons

In August they asked employees to give them high reviews because their glassdoor rating was so low. They are constantly acquiring new companies and the HR team has no clue how to assimilate new employees. No one knows what the other divisions are doing. The lack of communication is a nightmare. They also have absolutely no diversity plan and when it is brought up, you are punished for implying the company could be improved by increasing their diversity outreach.
