    I worked at Resource full-time

    Pros

Super smart people. Big-name clients. Always pushing to be on the forefront of applying technology to help clients. Good culture. Encourages learning. Lots of research.

    Cons

Departments are overly siloed at times. Although it has a reputation for a great employee culture, the actual culture doesn't quite live up to the hype.

    Advice to Management

Remember what made Resource a great place to work.

    Cons

Senior Management runs the show but are not always in touch with the pulse of the organization.

Be in touch with the people on the ground

I have been working at Resource full-time

    Pros

Flexible, upbeat, active environment, easy to express yourself

    Cons

Projects mostly setup for success but quickly derail, and require heroes to complete work on time and on budget. Disconnect between the sales/client service side of the house and IT side. New processes coming, and it remains to be seen how buyout from IBM iX impacts R/A as an organization

I have been working at Resource full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Whether it is creative, strategy, tech, marketing, or business, there are always opportunities, regardless of your role, to expand, grow, and learn in your career in those areas. The work and clients are fantastic, so you get a ton of exposure to so much interesting work than you would normally get to experience otherwise.

    Cons

Work can be hectic at times (yet very rewarding), but know that you need to manage and own your work/life balance. Those who fail/quit usually do so because they do not escalate until they are drowning.

I worked at Resource full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Talented people and clear vision for the company. Great for building a portfolio with major brands.

    Cons

Long hours and focus on financial success over creative product.

    Advice to Management

Put culture and creative first and unlock the potential of employees. There were too many years of no raises and associate growth yet financial growth of the company.

    No opinion of CEO

    I worked at Resource full-time

    Pros

It will make your resume look great as you climb the ladder to "success". Free beer. It's okay if you cry, everyone does.

    Cons

Come prepared with a script for Lexapro. And Klonopin. And Adderrall. Many 20-something were promoted several times to very senior positions as turn-over crept in. No one is leading on the account side, it's truly a free-for-all. Come prepared to work long hours, Googling your way to knowledge, chasing clients and dealing with exhausting egos' on top.
