I have been working at Revcontent full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Hardworking employees and leadership, great culture that involves fun events and activities to reward the hustle, no hand holding or babysitting but just the trust to get your job done, openminded views on suggestions and improvements, initiative is always encouraged and recognized, flexible work hours and environment, incredible feedback and motivation from department leaders and executives.

    Cons

If you need to be told what to do every minute, this job isn't for you. You are trusted to do your work and expected to problem solve on your own.

    Pros

Changed a lot in recent years for the better. Management is great, goals are outlined, and the team is smart.

    Cons

If you can't manage yourself and need someone to give you instructions everyday, you'll be lost.

I worked at Revcontent full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The Culture and Leadership. This is truly a people based company and it's no accident this company has been as influential and successful as it has been. It will push you out of your comfort zone and challenge you to think different.

    Cons

The Challenge - This environment is not for everyone. Its incredibly fulfilling but Ive seen it work very well for people that are willing to take on a bigger challenge and for it to not work as well for people looking just for a paycheck.

I worked at Revcontent full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Work/life balance. Sure, they offer unlimited time off, flexible schedules, dogs in the office, weekly happy hours, fun events, and tons of other perks, but the reason Revconten t is a Great Place to Work is because of the people. I've never worked at a place where the company cares so much about the people who work their, their families and their lives. They do everything in their power (and more) to make sure the team is treated like family and are empowered to pave their own career path. It is fun as hell. Despite having to work extremely hard, we always had a good time doing it. Ability to make an impact. Just because they have done things a certain way, doesn't mean they are stuck doing things that way moving forward. Every single employee has the ability to make a change in the company, the industry and in their career, and management actually encourages them to do so. Great time to be a part of something special. There have been lots of changes in the past 2 years, all for the better. The company has a clear vision for where it is heading, and everyone is aligned on how to get there. Based on the improvements that have been implemented, I believe the next few years will be the brightest for Revcontent.

    Cons

It is hard work. The people who do the best at Revcontent are people who are self-motivated and able to identify and solve problems without a whole lot of hand-holding. If you are not able to put in the work and learn quickly, you may feel lost. Change in the industry. The native advertising industry is constantly evolving and is at a turning point currently. Revcontent and others in the industry and trying to pivot a bit to improve the reputation of the space and the value they bring to media and advertising. This means you have to be nimble yourself and be ready for your role and responsibilities to shift to align with changes. Must wear a lot of hats. Others in the industry have taken on a ton of funding and add thousands of staff which allow their employees to be extremely specialized. revcontent is bootstrapped, so that means people have to wear a lot of different hats, and often take on responsibilities outside of their "job". That added responsibility provides awesome opportunities for advancement, but some people don't like change.

    Pros

Leadership respects and trusts you to get things done.

    Cons

Due to the fast speed of development you often do not have realistic or clear timelines to work with but that's to be expected.

I have been working at Revcontent full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Current leadership has opened a line of clear and effective communication. Their dedication to the success of the company, and employees, shows much more than it did under previous leadership. Everyone seems to be re-invigorated and excited about the future of Revcontent. We know where we are going and we know how to get there. After years of feeling like we were wandering aimlessly towards some "pie in the sky" idea, we have a tangible, realistic, and exciting goal. The people who work at Revcontent are the best of the best. They are at the top of their game and they truly care about not only the success of the business but the success of those around them. Great benefits - bring your dog to work, casual dress code, unlimited time off, etc. Also in a great area of town, lots of options for lunches and after work get-togethers.

    Cons

Although positive, a lot of things have changed over the past few months. Some things are still being tweaked and moved so sometimes things change quickly. Some of the changes were drastic so give employees some time adjust and also make sure they know that we now (finally) have a truly open line of communication to the decision makers of company.
