      The owner micromanages everyone. He is forgetful and talks down to employees trying to encourage work through fear. The smartest people are demoted because people in product management are scared of losing their jobs.

      Pros

      The pay and job security are great, provided that the CEO and Product Management Director like your looks and attitude. You can spend your entire day doing anything you want, as long as you stay out of the Product Management Director's way of making money and improving job security! You don't need to know anything about cars, or working on them, to work here! All that's needed is to sit at your desk and act busy. Seriously, it's amazing.

      Cons

      Most of the people who contributed significantly to the company's growth have been fired and/or demoted (they "crossed" the CEO and/or PM Director), so there is a disdain among the departments. The company's headcount is shrinking at a rapid rate, without signs of improvement. The company has no future, beyond the elderly CEO's existence. At that point, the money well will dry up, any remaining puppets will scurry off into the shadows, and the company will cease to exist. You will likely lose brain cells while spending the majority of your time merely looking busy. Sometimes, it's interesting to do actual work.
