Pros

Great Products, Exposure into many industries

Cons

There is a major lack of vision within the organization. As an entry or middle tier employee, you do not receive any direction. You are given tasks and expected to do them without allowing you to understand the reasoning behind them. The onboarding process is very misleading. They bring you on in a high energy and collaborative environment. Then shortly afterward, they tell you to "figure it out". There is very little collaboration between different parts of the organization. Another small but very annoying part of their business is the software that they use. Good luck finding the information you are looking for and be prepared to use 1995 email software.

Great Potential, but marred by weak managers in some places

Pros

Seriously fast growing organization with lots of opportunities for career growth.

Cons

Many instances of unprofessional management assignments which negatively impact employees. Historically weak HR department - the U.S. locations do not share the same strengths as the parent company.

Pros

Good health benefits (for now). There are truly great people in the organization. Decent brand recognition.

Cons

SICK used to be a great company. Things have badly deteriorated in the last 2-3 years. There have been a multitude of poor upper management decisions that have driven the company into a bad position. I wish I could go into detail, but I obviously cannot. Other than to say current upper management is making it far worse. They have also resorted to cracking the micromanagement whip. People are leaving. Some are being fired. Morale is in the gutter. I really hope things get better, but it seems the bad decisions are merely resulting in more bad decisions. Upper management is nothing but a group of people patting each other on the back.
