    Opportunity to learn On the Job
    Wide installation of the plants facility
    Interactions and knowledge sharing with seniors
    Good qaters facility

    As always, Top management is not employee friendly
    Salary is below medium comparing to similar industries
    Not so much Cons to share..

    Try to retain talent by providing competitive salary.

    Great place to learn basics of operations
    Company with a legacy
    The company employees have respect in the town of Tuticorin

    Cons

    Office politics
    Not a challenging work atmosphere
    Majority of employees are laid back. Most of them well satisfied with their jobs. You see a lack of energy in the work place.
    Hardly any young employees. Mainly filled with long time employees.
    Still stuck with legacy, which competitors have moved ahead.

    Advice to Management

    Make the culture more open.
    Break the hierarchy
    Employ more modern managers
    Focus on meritocracy instead of length of service

    nothing special to work.they r famous for their training.but they lost thr legacy in training now

    full of politics,no respect to employees

    pls dont trust the plant managers words alone...just cross check it

    I worked at SPIC full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    The time I spent in SPIC was very useful for learning a lot technicall and function well in a team. There is no limit for you to probe techncially and so understand technical things related to the chemical process.

    Cons

    Salary was not on par with the industry. We were expected to put in long working hours depending on the type of problems faced in the fertilizer plant without any time limit, without commensurate compensation.

    Advice to Management

    Those people who put in hard work need to be recognised more and compensated well.

    Pros

    Helps to learn basic TECH about manufacturing skills and start chemical engineering career. Good TOWNSHIP for peaceful life
    Make ones life entertain and more place around the company for weekend relaxation

    Cons

    Very less salary
    No compensation
    Very less Increment
    Grade improvement is rarest one in all the way in career
    Not good management practice

    Please switch over yourself to some modern management techniques for better working culture
