Pros
Searchbloom established itself as a reputable SEO company with talented team, a focus on client satisfaction and a track record of delivering tangible results. Searchbloom fosters a positive and collaborative work environment, the company values its employees and provide them with the opportunities for growth and professional development.
Cons
No negative thing about Searchbloom, I was more than happy working with them.
- 3.0Jun 6, 2023Anonymous EmployeeFormer Employee, more than 1 year
Pros
When I started with the company, I was given clear expectations and the support needed to succeed. This deteriorated at around the six-month mark.
Cons
Approximately 20-30 people worked with the company during my time there. For such a small company, they had very few long-lasting employees outside of the top management. It was a rare month when we did not lose at least one employee. Your job is never safe and there is no sense of job security here. You often didn't even know who you would report to since there was so much employee churn and promotions/demotions nearly monthly. Expectations and workload steadily increase until the workload is impossible to meet while still doing quality work. You could often predict the next person to be fired because they would be the most stressed and unable to keep up with the ever-rising workload.

Pros
-Competitve salary & company paid healthcare -Fully WFH, flexible work hours
Cons
-They promote an “employee-centric” culture, but it was quite the opposite. “Churn-and-burn” culture is more accurate. Workload was massive (often picked up the pieces of a departed employee) and expectations were unrealistic to say the least. Management had no problem scapegoating and speaking poorly of former employees. -Lack of coherent company vision. Frequently removed or added new roles/positions (therefore removing someone else’s role) to the company. -All of this led to constant terminations, layoffs, or resignations. Turnover rate was incredibly high, which clearly impacted employee morale. -They originally gave strategic autonomy to do what you saw fit for your clients, but then backtracked and began micromanaging. -Sorry to say that joining Searchbloom was ultimately a big mistake.

Pros
1) Working from Home (Remote Work) 2) Flexible Work Hours (Results Only Work Environment) 3) Amazing Health Insurance (Paid for by Company) 4) Awesome Culture (Collaborative & Fun) 5) Office Improvement Stipend I could keep going with all of the many benefits that Searchbloom offers, but I'm limited in the amount of text I can include. Sufficit to say this is a fantastic company to work for, and the leadership is top-notch!
Cons
None that come to mind.

Pros
-Responsive and accomodating leadership -Plentiful learning opportunities -Open-door policies backed by leaders that welcome positive and negative feedback alike -A zero-tolerance policy for micromanagement -Employees are given ultimate creative discretion -A healthy company culture that maintains professional boundaries while humanizing the employees at the frontlines -Prioritizes diversity and inclusion in a way that feels authentic -Higher-ups don't harshly penalize employees for mistakes. Instead, they repurpose these slip-ups as learning opportunities. -The CEO is willing to tailor job descriptions to fit employees' unique career ambitions
Cons
-Training tends to be pretty hands-off -Every day is fast-paced, leaving very little room for downtime -Communication breakthroughs are common between departments

Pros
In your role as an SEO analyst, you will have a lot of support from the content and development teams. This is very stress relieving and will make your life as an analyst a lot easier. Once you have partners assigned to you and you fully transition into the partnership, you will have the autonomy to decide the strategy which I thought was pretty rewarding. Overall, a very positive work environment. Searchbloom has great benefits including completely paying for your health premiums. Compensation was definitely above average, but at the same time probably could have been adjusted slightly upwards to really compete. On the team, you can find plenty of super smart people who you can talk to and learn a lot about SEO from. Searchbloom also provides a lot of extra curricular training material if you take the time to go through it. There are courses such as Brian Dean's SEO That Works Course, Glen Allsop's Blueprint Program, and more. The job being fully remote was also highly appreciated. In terms of managing workloads, Searchbloom does an outstanding job making sure you don't have too much on your plate. The CEO and the entire team are always available to help you with any questions, ideas, or feedback. You are not micromanaged here either which is a huge plus.
Cons
Like any digital marketing agency, especially if you deal with clients, I found it to be somewhat stressful at times. I never had to stay late or anything like that though thankfully. As Searchbloom is a young company, there is no really established "development pipeline" as said in other reviews. If you are a good Sr. SEO Analyst, eventually you will have the opportunity to become a team lead and possibly eventually manage the SEO department, but it would be nice to have the ability to grow with the company in other directions and/or on a more solidified schedule. Searchbloom has a custom task management system which can cause frustration if you run into bugs and it doesn't work the way it should.
