    Pros

Great for people passionate about the sports industry

    Pros

    Good benefits and comp tickets

    Cons

Not a lot of room for upward mobility. Tough work/life balance and pay is below average for lateral jobs outside the industry

    Advice to Management

Invest in your current employees. Don't treat every employee like they're replaceable because every young kid is willing to work in baseball for pennies.

I have been working at Seattle Mariners part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Free or lo cost tickets, free or lo cost tickets

    Cons

Security is a grind and they wonder why they can't keep people. Unless you are a special few who get the choice jobs, you are being brutal to your body. I guess they don't know about ergonomics. Go ahead, file a worker comp report. They are self insured and will deny

    Advice to Management

take a good look at this, please

    Pros

    Free tickets every month
Limited working hours (no shifts while mariners are away - this is a good secondary summer job)
    Discounted food

    Cons

    Working with irritated fans
    Cold weather
Assigned to a different task every game, so you never know what you are going to have to do
    Night hours (~4-10 PM)

    Advice to Management

Take in people's preferences when assigning jobs (ex. play field, promotions, etc.)
Hire a fewer number of employees so that each employee is able to work more hours

I have been working at Seattle Mariners full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The organization as a whole is overall a great place to be. They encourage friendship within the organization. Most employees are happy with where they work.

    Cons

Pay. Some departments definitely work more hours and harder than others but the pay does not reflect that whatsoever.

I have been working at Seattle Mariners part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

First, you get to watch baseball, a lot of baseball. Second, your bosses and team really actually seem to care about you, your well being and happiness even though this isn't a very serious, career-oriented job. They really know what they are doing when it comes to customer service. When employees are happy it makes it much easier for them to turn around and smile at the guests.

    Cons

The uniforms are embarrassingly terrible. I age 30 years every time I put one on.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up!
