i interned at Section 101 for a few months, and it was a bizzaro mashup of Willy Wonka with Devil Wears Pravda but worse. taking out the trash, coffee runs, weird hours, lots of talk but little action, and doing very little other than personal errands for the founder. it was more indentured servitude under unheralded scrutiny with no freedom to do anything creative or contribute. do what your told, don't think for yourself, and new ideas are definitely not encouraged, nor is it really possible to please managers, ever. people don't work here long, and that's for several reasons, namely they don't really hire people for the long term, just trial consultants, then change direction and point people toward the door. a great learning experience for the kind of company not to work for and how not to do business and how not to treat employees to earn respect and loyalty.
