I worked at Seneca Promotions full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Allot of potential! Hard work pays off. Allot of great staff and good bosses! Learned to really be independent with this company! Traveling to new areas and seeing places you have never seen!

    Cons

Allot of travel! Allot of non stop work. Sometimes staff would work weeks at at time. Traveled allot, and was away from home.

I worked at Seneca Promotions full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The best thing about working for this company is that it feels like one giant family. The money is good, and you get to travel, and get additional travel money. They tend to promote from within, which is always motivation in itself.

    Cons

You are asked to travel a lot, but the money and time off in between does make it worth it.

    I worked at Seneca Promotions

    Pros

One of the best things about working for Seneca Promotions is that you get paid essentially twice every week. Once based on salary and another check based on mileage. So your base pay of 52,000 a year is easily bumped up to over 60,000 a year with the added mileage check.

    Cons

This was by far one of the hardest jobs I have ever had to do. The job itself sounds easy enough, you go to four stores a day, set up for two hours each and promote Seneca Tobacco. If someone buys a pack from the store then they can receive a second pack from you for a penny. THIS JOB WAS HELL. First off, they send you to the most unsafe places EVER, either the hood or some really red neck country part of America that you never knew existed. You have to look the part so you're sitting out in front of these stores in BAD areas with full GLAM makeup and hair and you get hit on to the point where it is UNCOMFORTABLE. Let "Management" know and they DO NOT CARE. Raining outside... THEY DO NOT CARE... Snowstorm... THEY DO NOT CARE. Okay... not too too bad right? Secondly you make your own schedule. Sounds beauitful--it's not. You are cold calling stores AFTER you get off work, sometimes for hours (unpaid) and seeing first if they sell the cigarettes then if you've ever been to the store and lastly if you can set up a time to come. You never worked in the city you live in, you have a territory ... set area... you legit drive about 2 hours a day away from your home to some random area, work and drive home another 2 hours... hopefully there is no traffic. So add all of this up and your 40 hour work week has now turned into 80 hours. The driving and scheduling was a full day of work in itself. Management is nonexistent. It's a company full of women-- ENOUGH SAID. CATTY CATTY CHATTY PATTY'S!

    I worked at Seneca Promotions

    Pros

I would say there is nothing positive about this company. I wouldnt even give this company 1 star if that was an option.

    Cons

Work before family, health, or anything else. Management is completely unrealistic. No work/life balance. You must be a barbie doll or you will NOT fit in. You have to be a two timing backstabber to be able to move up in this company. management has favorite employees and is very open about it.

I worked at Seneca Promotions full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I was forced to become very self reliant.

    Cons

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. Worst company you could work for, completely unorganized and disrespectful to employees. Zero work/life balance, you really do work 80 hour work weeks for only 52,000.

I have been working at Seneca Promotions part-time

    Pros

Make your own schedule, good pay and perks. Some traveling and everything per diem, this is field work not an office job.

    Cons

Very unprofessional, human resource nightmare, office abuse. Whoever is the 'teachers pet' at the moment gets special treatment, very catty unprofessional behaviour from management and the actually work environment is not good e.g.; working outside for hours in cold weather or extreme heat.
