Pros

Fellow employees were very nice. Lower tiered workers do not mind helping you out when needed. This job is only good for the experience you will be able to add on your resume that will be needed to pursue higher paying positions in the field. Just in case you are interested in working for this company and the recruiter doesn't tell you, this is a call center for video game support. This will not get you anywhere in the video game industry.

Cons

Limited training. They shove two months of training material in two weeks, and due to their non disclosure, you can't take notes home. Strict attendance policy. Being late one minute will get you an infraction and after a few you are immediately terminated. It also doesn't help that the computers will make you late because you have to log in which takes forever if you are unlucky and get one of the many bad computers. Pay rate is lower than the average. 10 hourly. I do less work at my current job which is in the same field as this one for double the pay. Office politics are very heavy here. Be careful because they will throw you under the bus if necessary to cover themselves. Bait and switch. Was told by the recruiter that the job will deal with video games and it's just a call center for actual video game companies help desk. They've also told several new hires that they can accommodate their specific needs regarding their schedules (such as schooling, public transportation, secondary work, etc), then when they get their schedules, they refuse to accommodate for the needs. Policies change way too often. Example would be one thing that is allowed one week will be something you'll get fired for next week. And you will not get a proper warning. Only a meeting with your lead which you will most likely miss because you'll be on call 90% of the time. Hopefully your teammates will also be aware and inform you of the change. Constant hiring and firing. They have fired whole departments in their past and consolidated a few departments with no warning. You are monitored very closely behind the scenes, and making a simple mistake could cost you your job. Do not stay long. Please keep this in mind if you are interested in this company. Higher tiered workers are no help at all. You will need their guidance especially with unorthodox customer requests and incidents, and they will be nowhere to be found. Only one of the higher tiered workers will be there to rescue you, but he is usually overwhelmed with work as the other higher tiered workers are not working. (Tier 2s if you are reading this, you know who you are.) No benefits at all until a year. (If you last that long)

Pros

The coworkers become great friends Shout out to community bug team and all the great tier 1-3 for there hard work and great friendships

Cons

Management will lie and smile and your face he is the problem with upper management, also they will be one way when corporate is not that and switch and be a different way when corporate arrive corporate has no clue on how this building in hunt valley is ran. The COO of the company couldn't even answer a question about how it is to be a woman in the gaming industry without reading a paper smh. lies lies lies lies once a year they will try to lie to you before the new year to raise morale when it's so low it can't be fixed without firing employees and hiring new ones avg employee stay that for at least 6 months to a year and they already quitting that should tell you something if you can't keep employees you are doing something wrong smh Ps don't fall for the overtime incentive they will never give you your rewards it's just a trick to make you work more hours to cover them selves for having lack of employees due to everyone leaving. GET YOUR EXPERIENCE AND LEAVE !! Not a company to build with.

Pros

With the exception of some agents who have become jaded through their experience with Pole to Win, most of the agents are really cool people that you connect with right away.

Cons

Without a doubt, the worst, most dysfunctional employer I have ever had. You are thrown into an overly complex system without the resources to succeed, where you will be issued demerits for very minor things, including doing your job in the exact way that you have been instructed to do so, all for less wage than you would if you were stocking shelves or busing tables. You are instructed to lie to and get rid of customers, because they are unilaterally deemed deplorable. The goal is not to actually resolve issues, but instead to deny and form respond to as many people as possible.
