Pros

Transparent and authentic communication from leadership. Fun collaborative, yet competitve, environment. A place for people who want to win, who chase greatness with a passion for their jobs. Quick decision making.

Cons

Houston traffic :) Not the place for someone chasing titles as it is very flat organization, but for those that just want to expand their responsibilities and contribution without a title change it works.

Thank you for your feedback! We are proud of the positive and collaborative culture and entrepreneurial environment we’ve built to support our employees. To celebrate their achievements and dedication, we often promote people from within, with more than 100 employees receiving promotions or title changes in 2025 and an average tenure exceeding 20 years among our leadership team. We also offer career expansion programs to help employees level up their skills, including our Leadership Development Program and FaST. Sorry about the traffic but at least Houston’s not too hot… Wait a minute… We are so happy you brave the traffic each day to be a wonderful part of the Smith family!

Pros

Free snacks and drinks, good office location

Cons

- No room for development - Full of micromanagement and favouritism as this is a family business - High volume laid off when the business is declining and start high volume recruitment in 2 months. - You will be forced to go to office under extreme weather

Thank you for your feedback. As an entrepreneurial company, we reward individuals who take the initiative, seize opportunity, and respond positively to coaching from their managers. Smith's comprehensive learning and development program is carefully designed to help employees grow and succeed with a wide range of training opportunities. However, the semiconductor industry moves in cycles, and we must continually adapt across all levels of the company to meet the needs of the market. Smith has emergency response protocols in place and actively monitors severe weather conditions to ensure the safety of all employees. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.
