Pros
Staple has been an incredible place to grow both professionally and personally. The work is challenging but rewarding, and the engineering team is filled with talented and supportive people who truly care about the products we’re building. As a software engineer, I’ve had the opportunity to work on cutting-edge products that are changing the way businesses automate and manage their paperwork. The team is passionate about innovation, and it’s very motivating to be a part of that. The leadership at Staple fosters a culture of transparency, trust, and collaboration (Trust in our product is a very big factor that we emphasize on)
Cons
While the company culture is great, there are definitely some areas that could use improvement, particularly when it comes to compensation and benefits. The compensation is competitive, but it could be higher considering the level of experience that some of us bring about to the company and how invested we are into the company. While health insurance etc. not being there for some of us due to geographic constraints (which is fine), it would have been nice to get any other benefits in place of it instead.
