Pros

Easy to get hired, all you have to do is Cheat on their Assessment test.

Cons

Oh where do I start? The Pay? Wow $10.50 an hour and their commission structure is Trash, all because the owners are Korean and good with saving money and not paying their employees proper wages. Lied to during orientation. They say you can move up but all the managers are quitting because the pay sucks, and the stress levels are extremely high for what they do. Remember it's T-Mobile it's not AT&T or Verizon. They say your full-time 40 hours but you get less because they don't want you to go over. They close at 8 o'clock but lock the doors 10 minutes after closing. You don't get out the store until about 930, 10 o'clock due to cleaning, and inventory counts on a sheet that has expired phones so the work is much longer and harder. They are too cheap to hire a cleaning company so they expect you to clean everything in the stores from mopping sweeping to cleaning the bathroom. Their training is a joke. They hype it up and they don't tell you you're a janitor until you are in the stores. They're tracking system for your commission is a joke. You have to manually type it in or else you don't get paid. Everybody complains but still continue to work there. You are monitored via Camera so if you pick your nose, your manager gets a text message with the screenshot, Beyond micromanaging. Stick with corporate if you're really trying to make money. No future with this company.

Pros

Slim to none: Champions Club (yet points seem fluctuating to others advantages). There's definitely not too many internal promotions, I just need to get to 20 words.

Cons

I really wouldn't know where to begin. Our CEO is GREAT! It's sad he's blinded by others whom only have the best interest in this new regime tags been built, leaving out all tenured talented managers with no hope of advancement. They've been so eager to open up stores that they can't properly staff just to get a "bonus" while those running those new stores get NOTHING in return. No raise, no bonus, just constant fear tactics making SALES associates canvas out. Their motto "if you don't have a customer, find one" meanwhile they're in their A/C offices figuring out ways to get rid of more managers to bring in their own people. I'm very disappointed. I was once happy to be a part of a family -oriented company, who cared for their people. Now I dread going to work, and have no respect for our Corp Dept individuals.

Pros

The only good thing about working here is the 70% off on cell phone plans

Cons

When I first started with this company it was great and the commission structure was amazing. But once this company started expanding and opening more stores then everything started to go to crap. The commission structure Is pretty damn ridiculous now and they will try to tell you “well if you just push harder it’ll be easy to make that much money again” but no that’s definitely not the case. I would like to know how much these trainers and others working in HR are making, especially since it doesn’t seem like some of them even do anything. Reps come out of training with little to no knowledge after 3 weeks even though the entire time we are updated and are told they are doing great. If you make a complaint or even just have a question for HR just forget about getting an answer. There have been issues with people physically fighting, sexual harassment, managers doing drugs, yet no one looks into this stuff. You know it’s bad when managers are running for the hill to get away from this damn company.
