Pros

Nothing i can think of, just need to fill the twenty word minimum. At least i think there is some kind of minimum, not sure.

Cons

> More of an acting position > Tell you how you work for yourself and not money, but literally all they talk about is how you need money > You don't make money for like a month > everyone that works there are the people you see on a Friday night at a "Get rich quick" presentation at the local Super 8

Misleading

Pros

The management team and employees were all very friendly. Easy group of people to work with

Cons

It was completely misleading in my opinion. I applied to a public relations job (shortly after getting a degree in a related field). However, it was strictly sales and there was nothing related to the job I thought I was applying to. At the time, I needed a job badly and took the job offer to try it out. If you would be interested in long 10 hour days standing in a store trying to get people to sample products with little compensation for all your work - it's the job for you.

Pros

You do learn a lot about consumerism and sales tactics. The company as a whole have unlimited contacts for help and tips within the management and sales circuits that management says "you would have to pay for business advice anywhere else"

Cons

You are expected to drive in every morning for a bullcrap 1hour "meeting." Here you learn business marketing strategies and sales techniques while "practicing" your pitches for your sales campaign. I spent more money on gas driving to SAMs club and to the office then I made every two weeks! At first your told it's full time. Then as it progressed we were told that you needed to QUALIFY for hours!! Which meAns you had to sell more then others to be able to work. If you are new, forget making even a shred of money for at least two months bc the Manager won't put you in the field to sell. She also sends you a schedule many times the night before your expected to work and it's usually only for 4 days until she makes a new schedule for the following few days. You will bust your butt standing in SAMS club getting 90% no's from people and make crap money. On average I took home $300 every two weeks when I was told I was "HIGH ROLLINg." I Spent more time frustrated with coming in to make no money then I did enjoying the ""opportunity of a lifetime" that I was told I had. The turnover rate here is astronomical. If you are there 3 months your considered a veteran of the company. The boss aka "leader" is very unorganized when it comes to her employees, often calling us by the wrong names and barely getting us our schedules in time to get child care planned. The job posts are very misleading. There is no event planning. It's strictly sales with little advancement to be an "owner." Most people don't make it far enough to be promoted to "leader" because they realize how little money they are making.
