Company has great employees and great pay.

    Cons

I worked at The Collection part-time

    Pros

THE COLLECTION treats it's employees like family.

I learned so much during my time there, and still remain close friends with my co-workers to this day.

    Cons

Employee satisfaction seems to vary by department. I was very lucky to have such a wonderful boss.

I worked at The Collection full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Decent benefits and the ability to fly under the radar when you want to underperform.

    Cons

The biggest concern in the place is the lack of ethics in the shop. To many people are being fed or just straight up steeling work. If you are not capable of fixing cars you will get fed services and get raises. If you take on difficult cars it will hurt you paycheck and no one cares (except to keep giving you more difficult cars). Management are mostly yes men and promoted to their level of incomptenece. The only thing management cares about is hitting their numbers at what ever the cost. It's just a bad environment.

    Advice to Management

Theirreally needs to be a massive shift in how you think about employees and your business in genral.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at The Collection full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Best reason to work here are the benefits. Now after I left they've added more but that's only because people were literally fleeing from this place.

    Cons

Let's start with the facility. There's 2 toilets in the shop for 100 men and it's always occupied. The bathroom has never been cleaned. There's a booger on the wall since I've started 3 years ago and I'm sure it's still there. The bathroom floor is covered in mold. The bathroom doesn't have an air extractor so it always smells like crap. The basement is infested with roaches. You will step on a roach with every step you take and the basement is immense. (Porters, if the windows of the customer car is down, check for roaches before getting in.) The shop is guaranteed to give you respiratory problems in the long run. The extractors seem to not work properly and car fumes linger around more than they should. Techs smoke anywhere in the shop even though they have a designated smoking area in the shop for them. The wash is all moldy. At other facilities they are nice and clean, like everything and everyone in this building, it's neglected and there's mold on the floors and walls everywhere. You will slip and fall walking through the wash area because of how moldy and slippery it is. Working here is not great. You don't have support from the manager. You're just another number to them. The environment in this place will have you feeling stressed, miserable, tired, overwhelmed and even depressed once you start asking yourself how you ended up in that crap hole. It will take a toll on your mental health. Management apologized that my job sucks. That should say it all. Stay away.

    Advice to Management

    Resign.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at The Collection full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Good money and good benefits

    Cons

This company is very good example of how not run a company. It has more cons that what I could fit in this section. My advice to service advisors and technician is to stay away from this place.

    Advice to Management

The management in this company needs to be restructure, starting with the CEO. If this is not done, no advice is going to help.

I have been working at The Collection full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good benefits, health and hourly pay. It's clean and well organized (for the most part).

    Cons

Can't make the hours if you're stuck with service asvisors that can't sell and a marketing team that don't know how to attract customers. Sometimes there's a lack of critical information.

    Advice to Management

It's good to be nice to customers but businesses don't run on free. Send your service advisors to courses on selling.
