Pros

If you take a job at Think Patented you may have a stable job but expect nothing more. They have off days you can use should you have a death in the family or emergency of some sort. They win awards in the printing industry for all sorts of work environments

Cons

This company is not friendly to those from diverse backgrounds. Look at the people coming out of the building after work, they are keep a certain amount of employees so they won't have to comply with affirmative action. There really aren't enough people there to brilliantly develop solid, technical skills If you're fresh out of college or are a even recent graduate. Its a family run company so the upper levels of management are all spoken for and thus there is no possible upward mobility. This is not the job for anyone in a top tier graduate program, as it is not compatible with class times, section meetings and exam schedules.

The employees do not come first

Pros

Job security, no lack of work

Cons

No chance for advancement. Family owned so certain family members are a permanent fixture no matter how they act and perform their job. You only receive a raise if there's enough money for across-the-board raises. No matter how hard you work, try to suggest ideas for better efficiency, etc. it doesn't matter. Departments don't work together as a team.
