Pros

Growth: self pace-accelerated, this company gives you the growth opportunity and it is your responsibility to develop/reproduce the skill set to advance through the MIT program. A lot of different types of people to collaborate with, get advice from and grow with. Motivation: as an individual in this company, you definitely need to be a self motivated individual - the company helps you stay motivated and consistent with different learning methods to help any kind of person achieve their goals MIT Program: laid out in a very structured and obtainable method with extensive training throughout My experience at Thrive Events has helped me propel myself into the person that I was striving to be. The company/MIT program has challenged and taught me invaluable lessons in my professional career and the skills I have developed and been able to duplicate onto others have helped me immensely in my current/future endeavors. The team at Thrive Events have become a staple circle of influence to me.

Cons

Not for someone who is looking for a clock in/clock out type of "job". This is for individuals looking for an opportunity of a self-driving career

Pros

There is unparalleled growth. There's always new clients to learn about and we're constantly meeting new people. They treat everyone as equals and each person is given 1 on 1 training to adhere to their certain learning styles. The pay is completely in my control and there are SO MANY resources at our fingertips. If you're actually taking in all the resources then it's impossible to fail.

Cons

It's hard, a lot harder than I expected because the events start out very easy to navigate, It's what happens beyond that. They push you every day and call you out when you're not living up to the potential. It's really fast-paced so that was hard to get used to and they expect you to start thinking like someone in management very early on- tbh that's what I wanted in the first place, but the responsibility they give you is hard for sure. WORTH IT

Pros

-Paid Training -Cross-train on marketing strategy -Stacked resume with management skills -Travel compensation -Clear/Frequent communication -Transparency from management -Opportunity for growth -TEAM NIGHTS! (positive team culture with weekly team outings) It can be frustrating in the job market when every company demands 3-5 years of management experience before even considering you. Eventually, you need a company to take a shot on you and actually PROVIDE that experience. That is what Thrive did for me. In the time that I was with the company, I was provided a clear structure for how to grow, and I did! I was surprised to see myself grow quicker than others who may have been there longer than myself. But the "no seniority" culture made it easy for me to grow! I now have skillsets to market and communicate with any clientele that I need to. On top of that, I was constantly being put into managerial roles and settings to prepare myself for a management position of my own one day (Thanks for being patient with me Puneh! ). The fast pace of the company challenged me to perform better than I thought I was capable of!

Cons

-Failure! (Let me eleaborate) I was not the best at several of the management skills that we were put into when I first started. It was UNCOMFORTABLE AT FIRST, knowing that this particular set of skills wouldn't just come naturally. But my mentors were patient, never degraded me, and worked alongside me to develop those skillsets. So I ended up being humbled at the beginning, but for those who are patient, good students, and can apply feedback, there is no issue growing here! BE PREPARED TO FAIL AT FIRST (But be patient, don't give up, and put in the work to grow and actually develop a new skillset. That's the biggest thing Thrive taught me).
