I worked at Torch for less than a year

      Pros

Some really nice people and they are very much about training and giving positive energy. At the end of each day they do feel-good exercises to make people feel valued.

      Cons

Felt like a cult; you are basically a door to door salesperson, selling paper ; ink cartridges and other office supplies. You must use your own car, pay for gas meals. The job is made out to be intensive where you may work for weeks without any pay, it is multilevel marketing at its core.

      I worked at Torch

      Pros

None. There were maybe one or two people that were actually nice to you, but that's it.

      Cons

Where to begin. There was no work/life balance. You could expect phone calls from Team Leaders at 8 pm after work and then Sunday nights...

      I worked at Torch full-time

      Pros

I made some friends while I was there and was able to learn about about my new city.

      Cons

IT was very obvious it wasn't going to last. The owner was very immature.

      Advice to Management

No need now that you are out of business. Find another company.

I have been working at Torch

      Pros

Very positive, fun office environment. The office crew made you feel very welcomed. Informed me I could go really far in the this company and could advance in a short amount of time. Had a call back for a second interview and that I would be "shadowing" one of their leaders for a "consultant" position.

      Cons

The "consultant" job is nothing but door to door sales. Started at 1pm knocking on doors asking people if they want --- product and what it entailed. Since daylight savings ended, the days are shorter but we were still out past 5pm knocking on doors and interrupting families having dinner and family time. Not to mention it got really chilly outside. We finally got done around 8:45 and headed back to the office were they...

I have been working at Torch full-time

      Pros

The skills sets that are trained are invaluable to a person wanting to grow and become in high demand as a trainor and interviewer. They teach you how think think like an entrepreneur and not like a typical employee. Learn how to sell learn how to teach and the world is yours. Love taking on the leadership role that I was never given anywhere else. Must have high integrity with day to day business operations cause there...

      Cons

Commission isn't that big of a deal like a lot of others would be lead to believe. Partial reimbursement for gas. Lot of ware and tear on vehicle. No compensation for training others. You are at the mercy of recruiting to get to management. Get to management and your pretty much set. You have to want it or you won't make it. The beginning stages is kinda a cattle call and only the cream of the crop will make it to management...
