Pros

Working here was an overall great experience. With the support of my fellow employees and employers, I had a wonderful learning experience with them as an intern. Along with their professionalism as individuals, the company itself has great fundamental qualities. Though I was working as an intern, I can honestly say that any employee would enjoy working there. Management is easy to communicate with, and everyone loves what they do, which keeps the workplace a positive one. Along with the environment, the videos and web design produced at True are high quality, as every employee works hard to satisfy each client. Also, considering the company is expanding, working here would be a great opportunity to move forward with a long term career.

Cons

The parking at true was slightly tricky. There is street parking, but sometimes it isn't available. If you are taking public transit, a bus stop is right across the street.

Pros

The people, projects, and work life balance

Cons

If there HAD to be a con, the company is remote so everyone works from home. If you like the "in office" environment, you won't get it here.

Pros

I very much enjoyed my time at True Productions. I was a video professional of about 10 years when I joined their team. I immediately enjoyed the variety of jobs and types of videos I was exposed to... many from notable clients. I had worked in-house at my last employer making specific videos, so this was a welcome change of pace. With that variety came an unexpected amount of creative freedom. At my last job, I was accustomed to carrying out marching orders from my managers. Management at True worked hard to ensure everyone on the team was comfortable moving a project forward and offered creative suggestions, but never imposed creative direction. Management had an open-door policy to discuss victories, questions or issues at any time. I discovered that my time there was really what I decided to make it. At my old position, extra effort amounted to not even a 'thank you.' At True, extra effort was always noticed and usually rewarded. The overall professional environment was collaborative, encouraging and inspiring. I enjoyed being a part of something growing and feeling that I played a part in that growth. The overall personal environment was icing on the cake. Work never felt like leaning on a team of people to get through each job... it felt like I was having fun and facing challenges with friends. Had I not been offered the dream-job that I had applied to one year before I joined the True team, I would still be there today. (Side note: the True team was very supportive and happy for me)

Cons

It was a bummer to commute down to Pilsen everyday, as that was far from my place. But the awesome new office in West Town was a welcomed move.
