Pros

Flexible work environment and talented employees

Cons

Management does not lead and does not listen. Because of this, the company will eventually fail.

As president of the company, I appreciate the positive comments about our work environment and our employees. We do have a group of very talented employees with our senior management team members being in place with us for over 2 years now. As any business, we often experience challenges with team members whether it be performance related, cultural fit or other issues, but our core team is exceptional and proud to say we have a very committed group in place. It is disappointing to see negative posts about your company but it also clear in these situations who is most likely writing the post. There are always good reasons on both sides when things do not work out in an employee/employer relationship but we all learn and we all get better. Our company is growing, we have great clients and we continue to evolve with our service offerings and in how we are creating a great environment for our employees. As I am writing this, our new office is about 2 months away from being complete and we are all looking forward to a new, modern and progressive office space that will improve our work environment, contribute to a unique culture and be a platform for continued growth.

Pros

-Your voice will be heard, all team members have a say in decisions. -The owner is approachable, and open to feedback (positive or negative). -Huge opportunity for growth. -Is looking for people who want to help lead the direction of the company. -Really cool projects to work on. -All team members are very passionate about creating great digital products.

Cons

-There was previously not a defined benefits package, but one is being rolled out soon. -Being part of a small team demands a larger individual commitment from it's members, there are just fewer people to pick up the slack if one member is not able to perform.

Thank you for your comments about working at TrueParallel. As the President of the company, my door is always open and I am always willing to listen to new ideas and ways to improve our business and culture. Growth comes with many challenges and we meet them head on each and every day. We could not do that without the fantastic people we have on our team today. We have rolled out a benefits package which includes a health insurance allowance and 401K plan. Our paid vacation, holidays and sick days are comparable to most any business and we are always open to providing personal time as needed, especially to those that demonstrate a high level of commitment to our clients.

Pros

Honestly, I can't say there were any professional "Pros". I did meet some very nice people during my time at TrueParallel, but over-all the morale was low amongst employees.

Cons

No benefits were provided to employees (at the time of employment) Unprofessional management (conduct and otherwise) Unclear job roles amongst employees, which caused confusion and friction during projects Unattainable target dates were set by management for projects for the size and skill level of the team (would over-promise to clients without consulting the rest of the team) Turnover rate is very high at TrueParallel Over all an unhealthy and frustrating work environment.

As the President of TrueParallel, I certainly do not like seeing a former employee or for that matter anyone have comments such as this about our company. But, it is always clear when comments such as this are made, who is doing the posting. Whenever a separation takes place it is not easy on either side of the desk, but I can assure anyone reading this that decisions are only made that are in the best interests of the business. We do offer benefits to our employees and we continue to mature our business. We have a lot of fun at work and have fantastic client relationships and are always professional about how we conduct our business. We do operate in a fast paced environment and the work demands are often tough but always client driven. The work is also fun and challenging and we all work together to deliver on behalf of our clients. We could not do it any other way so everyone on the team is involved as is appropriate. If had to rate TrueParallel as a place to work today, I would most likely give us 3.5 stars with my goal to get us to 5 stars soon. Whenever in a high growth mode, it takes time to build a great company and there is no doubt a lot of learning takes place on the path to greatness.
