Strong Team Culture and Meaningful Mission

Pros

I’m really thankful to be part of Turning Point. The work is meaningful, the environment is supportive, and people genuinely care about what they do. There’s a strong sense of purpose, open communication, and a team that shows up for each other and for the clients every day. It’s good to be part of a program that stays connected to the community and focused on helping people.

Cons

This work isn’t always easy — it’s behavioral health, and some days are tough — but having a supportive team makes a difference.

Everyone is stressed

Pros

Patient interaction, feeling like you actually help someone. The houses for the detox center and 30 day program are nice. Working with people who genuinely care about the patients.

Cons

Burnt out staff and infighting. Lack of support from coworkers and management. Management are all close friends so if you anger one they're all against you (including HR). No real work/life balance - They expect you to pick up shifts and extra responsibilities with no warning or increase in pay.
