Pros

NONE: This company lies during recruitment, puts you through 20 hours of personal non paid time HR hoops for your to complete on your own.

Cons

I was recruited for an immediate position. Spent two weeks meeting every HR and credentialing, tech requirement. I was then strung along for 3 weeks with an implied position and a fictitious director at a state school district who was holding off on setting the start date. ALL OF THIS WAS FAKE. Their recruiters are paid for every level of information they extract out of you, and then somewhere around week 4 you get told to "wait" or "would you like to be considered for a Fall position." It' s just a series of tactics to build their pool of people...while not really connecting you with employment. Don't waste your time. There are plenty of SLP positions available in high demand and a competitive wage.

Pros

-I loved working from home -I thoroughly enjoyed working with students

Cons

-Poor communication from Vocovision staff -No support from Vocovision staff -Horrible compensation -No protection or representation in contract (realization as soon as I became alarmed in my position) -I was repeatedly LIED (yes LIED TO) to by Vocovision staff (BEWARE of any communication that is off the record) -No one that I dealt with at Vocovision ever seemed to do their job (except for tech support and tech trainer) - I was treated poorly in many different situations by people who knew absolutely nothing about what it is that I do and who demonstrated complete disregard for my wellbeing time and time again

Pros

Ease of position meaning all you have to do is call people who want a job, call the schools who need a job filled, pair the two for an interview and repeat till successful.

Cons

No room for your own way of making things work as you are expected to follow the “successful” procedures set in place.
