I worked at WDM Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Job can be fairly demanding, but very rewarding in the end. You learn a lot about brand management, editorial and sales regardless of the department.

    Cons

Management is a bit rigid at times and won't listen to good ideas. I understand why, the company is kinda like a startup and you don't wanna move too far from the established formula and risk failure.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your people. They're the ones in the field.

    Pros

Great people to work with. Also, the product is very high quality. Production and editorial staff really do a nice job.

    Cons

Very difficult business model to work with. The vast majority of businesses won't touch this business model with a 10 foot pole. Model has really been corrupted by past strong arm tactics of competitors. There may be pockets of opportunity in certain sectors or global locations.

    Advice to Management

Rethink your KPI's they're unrealistic and don't take into account other ways of contacting people that would be more productive.

I have been working at WDM Group (Less than a year)

    Pros

nice building and nice gym for workouts. A few good apples, I do not have many to list here

    Cons

management is terrible, this company is likely going down in flames. expect you to put in 60 hours a week for what works to overcompensate for there lack of structure or systems. No crm or tracking, everything done in excel like the 90's and management will just lecture you constantly with no training. One of the most vil/evil places I have ever worked at

    Advice to Management

look at how you treat your employees, you're the worst

    Pros

Casual dress policy , nice office

    Cons

work with dishonest people trying to sell products and services that have no value
Fear, they lead by fear and think that’s a effective way to manage people.
    No good communication between departments.
You will get yelled at by the owner. He usually yells then asks questions later.
Control, they need to control everything you do.

    Advice to Management

there is no point in giving advice to ignorant people

I worked at WDM Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Innovation is key here. Employees are encouraged to innovate and find new ways to accomplish tasks. I have a very strategic mind and had a blast figuring out how to improve productivity and even revenue. The CEO is really into technology and the company has a "Silicon Valley" feel to it. Good long term vision and prospects.

    Cons

Not enough hours in the day to finish tasks sometimes. Lack of cohesiveness between departments at times, but was improving.

    Advice to Management

The "trial by fire" approach to things is sometimes overwhelming, a little more guidance at times would've been welcome.
