    I worked at WHRO full-time

    Pros

The quality of the content is excellent.

    Cons

There is a revolving door. You either keep your job for 20 years or you are gone in 1 or 2. Very talented people don't want to get involved in the politics and say no when recruited.

    Advice to Management

Embrace creativity. Change is good. Treat all employees equally.

    Pros

Being a part of the WHRO family has been a real treat. The staff are some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet, and they work hard to do a lot with very little.

    Cons

Seeing as it is a non-profit, you'll never get rich working at WHRO, but being a part of their mission and the services they provide offer a different kind of value.

I worked at WHRO part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company is very involved with the community. It has some wholesome programs and is a huge provider in education. The atmosphere is casual, people are generally friendly, the company provides media so you have some creativity buzzing about in the air. With its involvement in the community, there are opportunities to become involved and enjoy some of the events it covers.

    Cons

It's a non-profit, one can't expect to receive hearty benefits or compensation. It runs on a skeleton crew so many people take on work their job doesn't necessarily do traditionally. Also, with such a small crew, growth isn't available as much. The job is not a highly skilled position. It is merely there to support the accounting role; not to take much part in it
