I worked at Zuffa full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

It’s the “cool” job that your friends and family get to brag about. Getting to know fighters as they go from their first fight to champions is cool to be part of the journey.

    Cons

The amount of lies employees are told on a daily basis is absurd. There is zero leadership or guidance. Executives really only pay attention to you if you are sleeping with them and that also earns you a better bonus pay. Egos are off the charts. President makes irrational decisions off the cuff with zero opportunity to have a conversation about a situation. HR is a joke! Sexual harassment is accepted and expected. Forget work/life balance. It’s frowned upon to take time off but they also don’t roll over or pay out vacation. There’s no sense to the pay scale or bonus structure. No career advancement. Very cliquey. Expected to be on and answer your phone and email 24/7, 365 days a year. WME has no idea about the sport, they don’t care about understanding it. They lay people off every November so the whole company is usually on pins and needles. It’s definitely a place where it feels more like a cult and forced to drink the kool-aid than an actual corporate, leadership driven business.

I have been working at Zuffa full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Flexible Schedules as long as work is done on time Some great people to work with Gym and Cafe on site Lots to learn on the job

    Cons

Where to start? Raises are virtually non-existant. There's really no room for growth within the company. Too many yes men. It's very hard to get promoted. The companies MO is to put you in a new role with no title change, promotion, or compensation. Every year more and more work will be added to your daily duties and you will not get anything in return. Expect to work lots of hours with barely any overtime pay. The company pays you minimum wage for overtime. 12 hours of extra work for literally only $60. It's very sickening seeing so many people getting taken advantage of. No transperancy, no communication, or talk whatsoever with where the company is headed. Fed BS lines on why bonuses and raises are so low. The review system of setting yearly goals is unrealistic and really means nothing when it comes time for review. Benefits have recently been changed for the worst and it's more money out of your pocket for it. Morale is at an all time low and just about everyone I talk to is applying for jobs elsewhere. It's really sad what has happened to this company over the course of a view years. I can go on and on with the cons but lets not beat a dead horse.

"Comfortable work environment, but mid-management issues - little room for growth"

I have been working at Zuffa full-time for more than a year

    Pros

No mandatory 9-5 schedule or anything like that. If you get your work done people will let you come and go based on what works for you. Casual dress for work is nice. New office is very nice including cafeteria and gym. The "low level" employees get along making the typical day-to-day easy. Yearly bonus.

    Cons

Entry level positions are considerably underpaid with little room for growth or raises. Middle management overpaid + largely out of touch with modern digital times

I have been working at Zuffa full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Amazing product, strong leadership in terms of president and CEO experience. Previous CEO was much more culture and family oriented. New CEO and leadership are cutting ties with long-time leaders of the company.

    Cons

Lack of transparency and increased cost cuts are leading to multiple senior staff resignations and massive lay-offs (higher than reported in the press)

I worked at Zuffa full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Super dynamic and open organization. Most employees are super passionate about the brand. It was very cool working for them when the Fertitta's owned it.

    Cons

The new owners changed company's culture and it became very stressful. They laid off more than 60 people (mostly from international offices) after they sent a memo out saying they wanted to expand their international business

    I worked at Zuffa

    Pros

A relatively small company. The people that work there are very driven and team oriented. There is a very overwhelming feeling of family.

    Cons

The new management is very corporate. There is a lack of communication from the top about changes being made in the company after the sale, resulting in poor company morale.

I have been working at Zuffa full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great benefits for a production company in vegas. Not very easy to find full time work with medical insurance. Exciting company to work for and the christmas party is killer.

    Cons

Company very much falls into the reactionary vs proactive style of management. I've seen multiple employees leave due to no growth in their career. Seems like it's very difficult to get a promotion.
