Pros

One of the best places to work in NJ...if you actually worked in the office.

Cons

1. The application and interview process was pretty normal, and what you'd expect out of most companies. After I got the job, I asked to start at a later date but they were not accommodating at all to my request and even made my request seem "absurd." 2. They lied about hiring me as a marketing associate, and lied about wanting to develop my marketing skills: they are strictly a sales company, and only care about having you sell Staples products to people who mostly don't want to see your face. 3. As I mentioned before, you don't spend much time at all at the office. In fact, you only spend a half hour to 45 minutes in the office listening to some cult-like pep talk before being ferried off to a neighboring county in your state. Here, you'll travel along with a salesman or saleswoman at one rank higher and they'll introduce you to a myriad of people that hate them. You'll end up harassing 20-30 people each day who don't want you to bother them at work asking them to buy reams of paper or a new printer. 4. At the end of your first several days, you will realize close to nobody you interact with actually wants to see your face.

Pros

Great entry level opportunity for the right type of person who is willing to go above and beyond while stepping out of their comfort zone to reach weekly goals. This position is for a selective breed who strive to succeed while not settling for the average 9-5. Great people. Friendly environment.

Cons

No benefits, no 401k, no travel reimbursement.
