Pros

You could bring your dog to work.

Cons

Constant stress. You are EXPECTED to work weekends (without pay.) There is the never ending threat of losing your job, whether it’s due to the company’s financial state or one of the owners’ moods. I could go on and on and ON, but the REAL reviews speak for themselves. This place is a complete nightmare.

Pros

You can bring your dog to work. And some of the people are amazing. Others not so much.

Cons

The company is run by the two owners who have no idea what they are doing. They are confused, out of money, and painfully in debt. They love to fire people when they have no idea what they are going to do, even people they can not afford to lose. One of the owners is in their early 20s, never had a job and never been told no. If you disagree with him, you need to start looking for a new job, he will make sure you are fired soon after. They love to have meetings with management all day so you never get to talk to your boss if you have a question. You are lucky if you get an answer 8-14 hours later. They do not try to understand, they don't even think about their employees, they only think for themselves. You are also left out of all information, especially of it involves you. You are lucky if you even work there for more then 6 months. Also, the other reviews are correct, half the time you are lucky if a filmer even shows up. They want you to work all of your weekend in all departments. But they don't pay you for it. If you are salary, you only get compensated for the week days, not the weekends. So it does not matter if you work or not, you do not get paid. Be careful if you are thinking about coming to work here, they are not all they are made out to be, or what they try to make themselves out to be. They make current employees write positive reviews on here so they do not look so bad, but they also write the good ones themselves. So be careful, be very cautious.

The only thing I learned is what type of company I don’t want to work for.

Pros

You could bring your dog to work. People that worked there were friendly. They can create some absolutely beautiful films!

Cons

Immature managers (not all) Being told originally that hours could be flexible and you could work from home sometimes which was not the case unless you were super close with the boss. The biggest con is the bait and switch with the clients. Clients were told that we select videographers based on their vision on the film which was not the case. They were lucky just to have a videographer actually show up on their wedding day. Sometimes staff was scrambling to find someone the morning of the event. Management oversold dates and locations after being told for months and months ahead of time of problem areas which put a ton of extra stress on the team trying to search the country for videographers at the very last minute. The editing team is amazing even with being worked to death with unrealistic expectations and crappy footage from videographers. Lazy management who literally didn’t do anything but chit chat in their office while others were doing all of their work plus their own and were treated like garbage while doing it.
