Through our social impact program, AMH Cares, each of our ERGs this fall was empowered to select a non-profit to support and donate funds to. This #GivingTuesday, we’re proud to shed light on these 7 organizations for the positive impact they’re making in our communities: Asian American and Pacific Islander ➡ Aloha United Way, helping build a healthier, stronger, and more equitable Hawaiʻi. Black and African American ➡ Black Women for Wellness, working to advance the health and well-being of black women and girls through education, empowerment, and advocacy. disABILITY ➡ Rebuilding Together, helping communities rebuild in the months and years following a natural disaster. Hispanic and Latino ➡ Hispanic Scholarship Fund, empowering students and parents with the knowledge and resources to successfully complete a higher education. LGBTQ+ ➡ The Trevor Project, working to save young lives by providing support through free and confidential suicide prevention and crisis intervention programs. Military and Veterans ➡ Homes for our Troops, building and donating specially adapted custom homes for severely injured 9/11 veterans. Women ➡ Dress for Success Southern Nevada, helping unemployed and underemployed women achieve economic independence by providing no-fee programs, development tools, and professional attire to thrive in work and in life.
