Access Cares was built on the belief of sharing our people-first culture with the communities. Access Systems has been actively donating to charities for nearly 10 years before something more concrete was developed. In 2015, Access Cares was officially launched and has continued donating money to specific charities that were voted on by the employees. The team fell in love with being able to support local charities and customers. Five years later, Access Cares has expanded into donating time, money and volunteering throughout its 16 branches. Access is committed to giving back and making a positive impact in the communities it is apart of.
Work culture is a broad term that refers to the environment where people work, the company's beliefs and values, and the way that employees feel toward the organization. Part leadership guru, part therapist, and part event coordinator, Access Systems’ Culture Ambassadors play a big role in ensuring our positive work culture within all our branches as we grow. The CA's organize events and are in charge of giving back to the communities that their branch is located in. Although 2020 has been a year of change and trying times, Access Systems has persevered and is proud to represent a company that conducts business the right way. Meanwhile valuing its employees at the highest level. Access Systems is excited to expand its footprint into new locations including Wisconsin, South Dakota, and Minnesota. Last month we announced the addition of our newest team member in the La Crosse location, Access is offering all areas of our product portfolio – print management, managed IT services and cloud communications. In March, we introduced our Sioux Falls team. This was a brand-new location to put down our roots and expand the Access family. Our next focus is to open a branch in Rochester where we are excited to grow into the Southeast part of Minnesota. We are currently hiring for Account Executives and Field Service Technicians in these locations. We are optimistic about tapping into these new markets and eager to grow Access in these communities. Access Systems is pleased to bring new investments, jobs, and opportunities to these new markets.
The pandemic has created significant change in our lives. Our leadership team continues to make decisions in the best interest of the safety and job stability of our employees and families. For health, our culture has always been a people first environment. For business, I am very proud of how our leaders and employees have come together and done everything we can to avoid sending our employees to the unemployment line. Access is more than a business to me; it is very personal. I make decisions for our company like I do my own family. This is one of the most stressful times that I have faced as a business leader. We will get through this and thrive again, but we need to do this together. If we can continue to strike a good balance between safety, health, and business, this will be a turning point in the history of our organization.”
Access Systems Opens New Office in Lincoln Access Systems has expanded their footprint in Nebraska and opened their 15th location in Lincoln. This additional location will provide a strong presence and accommodate the rapid growth and client demand for technology solutions in the surrounding area. The office, located at 1001 South 70th Street, Suite 106, will showcase printers, copiers and telecommunication solutions. In addition, Access Systems also offers a full-service IT solution for small to medium size businesses. Customers can view firsthand the capabilities and solutions Access offers in this showroom. “We are excited for this new space. It reflects our dedication to service for our growing clientele in the Nebraska area. Clients are able to visit our showroom and see first-hand how our solutions can serve their needs.” said Chris Schmitz, Branch Manager. “Our Nebraska customers will experience an even higher level of efficiency and effectiveness with this addition.”
