Recently, ASF attended The National Association of Trailer Manufacturers (NATM) trade show in Orlando, Florida for the first time. It was a two-day event that included attendees from all over the world and brought together different organizations involved in the trailer manufacturing industry. It was such a valuable experience because we were able to learn so much and make a lot of great connections.
All State Fastener just participated in a Gleaners Food Drive called The Food Fight. Employees were told that they had a goal of 400 lbs. Not only did we meet that, we exceeded it! It was such a great team building experience and it is so rewarding to know that we are feeding hungry students.

This week ASF is gearing up for spring with a little Spring Cleaning! To add a little fun to the week, all employees who participate will be entered into a raffle for a gift card of their choice. We'll also be sending out some useful tips for them to use here or at home. First up, how to clean the microwave: Cut a lemon into halves, squeeze the juice into 1/2 cup of water and drop the rinds into the mixture. Microwave for three minutes and let it stand for five minutes without opening the door. The trapped steam will loosen the grime, so you can effortlessly wipe the microwave clean!
For the last 2 weeks, our employees have had the chance to voice their opinions about our company through the “Cool Places to Work in Michigan” survey created by Crain's Detroit Business and Best Companies Group. We'll have to be patient as they calculate the results but we are so excited to see them!
