Throwback to November 22nd when our UK and Ireland teams gathered in Dublin for an unforgettable Christmas celebration at The Cocktail Bar at The Odeon. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect face-to-face, share some holiday cheer, and reflect on a year of achievements. The evening kicked off with festive drinks and delicious nibbles in the beautifully decorated venue, setting the stage for a night of joy and celebration. A highlight of the event was our awards ceremony, where we recognised outstanding contributions and celebrated the incredible talent within our team. Cheers and applause filled the room as we honoured our colleagues for their hard work, innovation, and dedication over the past year. The celebration continued with lively music, laughter, and plenty of dancing. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this special event. It was a wonderful reminder of the strong connections we’ve built, even in a fully remote environment. Here’s to an amazing 2024 - happy holidays to all! 🎄🏆✨ #TeamCelebration #RemoteTeamSpirit #HolidayHighlights

We are excited to announce that our next#DevOps & Platform Engineering #MeetUp will be taking place on Wednesday June 26th in Dublin and we are inviting you to join us! We will have new speakers giving their unique talks on all things DevOps, our first speaker is confirmed as James Belchamber. James is an engineer with over 15 years of experience, from Linux Systems Administration through to Platform Engineering. He still considers DevOps to be a philosophy (not a job title), and will probably die on that hill. Currently he is leading an observability transformation project for a major airline.
We are delighted to announce that we have achieved AWS Amazon Connect Delivery Partner Status. Combined with our AWS Advanced Tier Partner Status, Amach are the first Irish company to hold both AWS Partner badges.
Spotlight on Didem Fergana What is your role in Amach? I’m a DevOps Manager in Amach and work as a Technical Team Lead for one of our customers. As part of the Data Center Migration Project, we move the EUC systems/applications currently located in DC1 and DC2 from on-premises to the Cloud, and after the migrations handing over to the relevant teams again. While doing this, we work with various participants such as 3rd parties, architects, TechOps teams, and end users. I’m working to make sure everything is on track, everyone on the team gets the help they need and has a conducive environment to do their job. What do you like about working in Amach? The first thing that comes to my mind is that it is a young and passionate company. Always looks for new opportunities and is open to development. You can have the chance to work on new technologies and learn new things every day, without having to stick to old-fashioned solutions. I feel lucky to work with a great team of people who are experts in their fields and open-minded. What do you do for fun? Honestly, I haven't had much time to do anything fun lately, but I can say that travel and decoration come first. I love traveling and exploring new places I haven't seen before. I believe there is a wonderful world out there waiting to be discovered. I also love decorating and beautifying living spaces, so I like to visit decoration stores, watch related videos and do some DIY work in my spar
Last week, members of our leadership team flew to Turkey to meet with our local team members. This visit provided a fantastic opportunity for everyone to get to know each other better, discuss our projects, and attend a dinner celebrating Amach's ten-year anniversary. We are committed to building strong, collaborative relationships across our global teams.
