Apple Growth Partners Announces 10-Week Paid Maternity Leave When the benefits outweigh the disadvantages, the decision is easy. This was the mindset of Chairman Chuck Mullen when proposing paid maternity and parental leave to the Apple Growth Partners’ (AGP) executive committee. Apple Growth Partners announced the firm’s new paid maternity and parental leave policy to employees during the annual firm retreat in September, proving a commitment to their 100 professionals’ personal life balance. The firm’s executive committee approved a maternity and parental leave policy allowing eligible employees (after 12 months of employment) up to 10 weeks of paid leave, in addition to being a covered employer under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), for the birth, adoption, or placement in foster care of a child. Female employees who give birth to a child will be eligible for eight weeks of paid maternity leave and two weeks of paid parental leave, resulting in 10 weeks of paid leave without exhausting personal time off (PTO) or using saved sick days.
