Earlier this week, we kicked off the 2024 Bigos Bus Tours with a bang! We toured five of our Minneapolis properties: Mallard Creek, The Palmer, Expo, The Whit, and Central Park West. The best part about the Bus Tours is the connections we foster. We encourage both site team members and corporate team members to attend in order to make those vital face-to-face connections with the property teams we visit. Thanks to all who attended and to our properties we visited, we can't wait for the next tour!

Today, our Bigos Gives Back committee dedicated the afternoon to building bikes for kids in need! We had such a great time out in the sunshine doing some good for our community. A big thank you to our committee members who volunteered and the folks at Bikes 4 Kids for all your hard work! 🚴

This month is Mental Health Awareness Month. To show our support for our employees, we hosted speaker Deborah Saari from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Deborah discussed how current events and stress can impact our mental and physical health, tips for managing stress, and how to identify symptoms of mental illness in order to support ourselves and those around us. We are so thankful for the wisdom Deborah shared with us!

Last week we hosted our annual All Employee Lunch at Giggles Campfire & Grill. We took time to catch up, eat some cheese curds, and learn more about each of the employee-led committees Bigos has to offer.
