Bisnow hosted 19 live events this week (!!!) across the US, Dublin and London for 4,400 total attendees. Including a 3-day Data Center Investment Conference in Maryland that was the biggest event in company history, with 1k+ attendees and the US Secretary of Energy as a keynote. PLUS our first ever data center golf tournament that we just wrapped up this afternoon!
Our People Operations and HR teams had the chance to attend the HR Brew Conference, and left genuinely energized! A few takeaways that really stuck: The work of People Ops is shifting fast... like very fast. From policy and process to designing the conditions where people actually do their best work. The speaker lineup didn't shy away from the hard parts: AI's impact on the workforce, building cultures that hold up under change & what it takes to build companies people actually want to be part of.
During our recent State of the Union, our entire company came together to reflect on what went well in 2025 and set the stage for an even bigger 2026—especially following our merger with Axel Springer and Brew Media. 2025 was a record-breaking year for our events business. We hosted 436 events across 50 markets spanning North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the Netherlands. Nearly 100,000 CRE professionals attended, with 5,203 industry leaders taking the stage. We also expanded into six new markets, including the Netherlands, Kansas City, Charleston, Gainesville, Colorado Springs, and Columbus. On the media side, we’ve grown to 1.7M+ subscribers, continuing to expand our reach while publishing content that truly moves the industry forward. Looking ahead to 2026, we’re preparing to launch new Audience Development tools designed to 4× our speed and impact, setting the stage for even greater growth.
Our CEO Gregg Mayer celebrating Bisnow’s newest chapter and carrying on one of our favorite office traditions — when a deal closes, we ring the gong! As we join Axel Springer as part of the newly formed Brew Media Group, we’re incredibly proud of our team that made this milestone possible and excited for what’s ahead. Thank you for being a part of our community and we look forward to bringing you more of what makes Bisnow great.
Meet Sophie McCourt. Upgrading two brand-new titles: VP of Operations and Mom! I have been with Bisnow for seven years and can confidently say it was the best decision I have made in my professional career. I started in an entry level role and have grown into a VP position, which truly reflects the opportunity for growth within the company. Throughout my journey, I have been surrounded by incredible mentors, supportive leadership, and a team that genuinely invests in its people. Bisnow has trusted me with meaningful responsibilities, given me the chance to lead and grow teams, and even created a Director of Operations role for me. That experience not only shaped my own career path but also helped create new opportunities for event producers across the organization. What makes Bisnow truly special is its passion for the commercial real estate industry and its commitment to staying at the forefront through timely news, impactful events, and strong industry relationships. Just as important is the culture. The environment is collaborative, driven, and genuinely supportive. Leadership encourages open communication and values every voice, which creates a motivating and exciting workplace. This is exactly the type of environment I wanted to be part of. This is a place where hard work is recognized and growth is real. I thrive in the fast paced environment where I am constantly learning, growing, and being challenged every day.
When teammates fly in from across the US and UK, you make it count. 🇺🇸🇬🇧 Our crew took a break from meetings and metrics to spend time together at the World Trade Center; a powerful reminder of resilience, ambition, and the energy that fuels NYC. There’s something special about getting everyone in the same place. New ideas spark faster. Relationships deepen. And momentum builds in ways Zoom just can’t replicate. Grateful for a team that shows up wherever in the world they’re based. 🌎
This quarter, Bisnow, Biscred & SelectLeaders got together for an epic workshop with Bevin Prince! Bevin is the wife of our former CEO, Will Friend, as well as the founder and owner of Recess, a high-intensity, rhythm-based cycling workout built around community, resilience and whole-person wellness. During this engaging session, Bevin lead a holistic well being conversation touching on exercise, nutrition, mental health, spirituality, and the full picture of what it means to take care of ourselves. Bevin's insights and advice were inspiring and a great way for everyone to reset and recharge moving into 2026!
Every year, we bring 80+ partners to NYC for our biggest sales week of the year. (better known as Budget Week) It’s a week packed with celebrations, friendly competition, and epic sales battles. In the end, only one team can take the crown. Huge congratulations to Line Item Legends for their victory in the Will Friend Challenge!
Bisnow had the absolute honor of welcoming Bob Knakal to speak with our teams this week, and to say it was inspiring would be an understatement. Bob has been selling investment properties in New York City since 1984, and along the way he has built a career that is nothing short of legendary. It is widely accepted that Bob has brokered the sale of more than 2,300 properties in NYC, more than any individual broker in history. What made the conversation so impactful was not just the numbers, though they are incredible, but Bob’s relentless consistency, curiosity, and commitment to doing the fundamentals exceptionally well every single day. His story was a masterclass in relationship building, grit, long term thinking, and showing up when it matters most. Listening to Bob was a powerful reminder that greatness is not built overnight. It is earned through decades of hustle, trust, and dedication to your craft. We are incredibly grateful for the time, perspective, and motivation he shared with our teams and will be carrying those lessons forward.
