CCIM Institute Appoints Paul Rumler, CCE, to Serve as EVP/CEO Rumler brings extensive business and economic growth experience to the organization. CCIM Institute, one of the largest commercial real estate networks in the world with chapters in more than 30 global markets, has named Paul Rumler, CCE, as the institute’s new executive vice president/chief executive officer, starting March 28, 2022. His appointment ends a nearly yearlong search for a new EVP/CEO to lead the 13,000-member association. CCIM Institute confers the Certified Commercial Investment Member Designation, commercial real estate's global standard for professional achievement. Appointed by CCIM Institute's Executive Committee, Rumler brings more than a decade and a half of experience and expertise, serving most recently as president and CEO of the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce. During his tenure, he oversaw an economic development team that closed 20 successful projects, resulting in $351 million of capital investment and the direct formation of 2,286 jobs.
