Most of us know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but what you may not know is the meaning of our Pink Pumpkins. We lost our CITY mom Doreen Koenig to the disease, and the Pink Pumpkins were originally her way to bring attention to the cause. We’re joining the conversation on World Suicide Prevention Day to raise awareness. It’s our job as a company to support the mental health of our Associates, especially during these stressful times as we transition to new ways of working and parenting. CITY Furniture is making sure we have the resources available to address signs of distress and develop response strategies, and creating an open and accepting atmosphere.

We recently had the chance to give a complete makeover to the Teachers' Lounge at South Miami Senior High with our good friend Martin Amado!
