The annual list, created by Jacksonville Business Journal, discovers and recognizes companies for their commitment to workplace excellence. CSI Companies has ranked for seven straight years.
The CSI Companies Court at UNF has been completed. "CSI is extremely proud to partner with UNF and build upon both of our roots in the community," Chief Operating Office Kate Mays said. CSI Companies’ Chief Information Officer, Melissa Fulmore-Hardwick, was announced as a Technology Leader of the Year honoree for 2022. The Jacksonville Business Journal award highlights those who have maintained and utilized technology to help shape their communities and businesses. Fulmore-Hardwick joined CSI one and a half years ago and has since used her business optimization background to enhance transformation in IT operations. In June, she wrapped up her first cohort of CSI Connect students, a new internship initiative that exposes students from underserved Jacksonville communities to technology careers. Although Fulmore-Hardwick enjoys problem-solving and working directly with technology, she said, “A real successful CIO is one who gets to interact with people and deliver solutions based on the people’s needs.” Fulmore-Hardwick is eager to continue leaving her mark and inspiring others by implementing new technology and driving growth. “The impact we’ve had on the community over these last couple of years is remarkable,” she said.
The inaugural class of CSI Connect interns graduated on July 28, 2022, coinciding with National Intern Day. The CSI Connect internship program is a new initiative that exposes college students in underserved Jacksonville communities to professional training and hands-on experience, positioning them for lucrative jobs in the technology industry.
