At Cera, we know that good care has the power to transform lives – helping people live well, work, and care for others. The new Care Can't Wait campaign, launched by the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services, shines a light on the vital role of adult social care in all our lives. With four in five of us likely to need care at some point, raising public awareness has never been more important. Care Can't Wait gives a platform to those who draw on care and support, sharing powerful stories of what quality care can achieve – enabling independence, dignity, and opportunity. We’re glad to stand alongside the sector in championing a positive vision for the future of care. Watch Abbie's story to learn more...

💼 A £1 Billion Commitment to Get Britain Working Again 💼 In the recent Spring Statement, the UK Government announced a £1 billion investment to help millions rejoin the workforce — a vital step, with 9.2 million adults currently economically inactive and 1 in 8 young people not in employment, education or training. At Cera, we know the barriers people face when returning to work. Through our Back to Work initiatives, we’ve supported thousands in restarting their careers — often after years away from employment. With the right training, support and encouragement, we’ve seen people rebuild their confidence, regain financial independence, and discover meaningful careers in care. 🚀💪 One of those individuals is inspirational double amputee Mark Allen, who is thriving as a carer at Cera after 20 years unemployed. In this BBC interview, Mark shares his incredible journey back into work and the impact it’s had on his life. “My whole life seems to be getting better.” We’re proud to play a part in building a stronger, more inclusive workforce — and helping deliver the care our communities need. 💜
