A new chapter begins. This marks an important moment in a journey that began with the merger of Linc and Pobl. Over the past 18 months, we’ve been working closely together, bringing our people, services and shared values into closer alignment. The name Codi was confirmed in June 2025, and now that identity becomes a reality as we formally come together as one. Today, we manage nearly 25,000 homes and provide care and support to around 17,000 people across Wales. With more than 3,000 colleagues, we are proud to be a major contributor to the Welsh economy. Looking ahead, we plan to deliver more than 4,500 new homes over the next five years, alongside continued investment in the communities we are part of. As a not-for-profit organisation, every pound we generate is reinvested, everything we do is focused on creating social value. Over the next five years, we expect to contribute around £1 billion to the Welsh economy, supporting jobs, skills, opportunity and new homes — helping to build a better future, together.
A partnership between the Edenstone Group, and Pobl Group has exchanged contracts to acquire a parcel of land at Plasdŵr – Cardiff’s new Garden City. Over the coming months, the partnership will progress plans for 181 new homes, as part of the wider 7,000-home Plasdŵr development in Radyr. Scott Sanders, CEO of Pobl Group said: "Pobl’s partnership with Edenstone is an exciting opportunity to deliver much-needed affordable homes in an area where there is significant demand. At Plasdŵr, as part of Cardiff’s growing Garden City, we’re not just building houses; we’re creating a thriving, sustainable community with a mix of tenures that will meet the diverse needs of residents. We’re excited to play a key role in this transformative development, helping to shape the future of Cardiff for generations to come."
Pobl has joined some of the UK's top businesses in coming together under the Sustainable Markets Initiative (SMI) to turbocharge the UK's shift to cleantech homes. "We moved into our new home at Pobl’s Parc Eirin Development over 2 years ago. Previously, we lived in a rented property dating from the 1970’s which was costing over £400 a month in Gas and Electricity Bills. One of the main reasons for buying a house at Parc Eirin was the prospect of lowering our energy bills whilst living in a house with much lower carbon emissions due to the green technology installed."
