On Friday June 26 we said THANK YOU and BEST WISHES to June Breadwood-King as she retires after a nearly 49-year-career with Coltene. In June’s honor, we proclaimed that day June Breadwood-King Day in our organization in recognition of all the amazing contributions June provided to Coltene and the dental industry as a whole. Starting in 2021, Coltene will establish a scholarship in June’s name with the recipient being a child of a Coltene employee. We are all better for having June touch our lives directly or indirectly.
COLTENE has been monitoring COVID-19 pandemic very closely. Over the past couple of months we have implemented a number of safety precautions and work arrangements to protect our employees. We have also created COVID-19 Task Force. On behalf of the COVID-19 Task Force and COLTENE's Leadership, we continue to deeply appreciate our employees' support and cooperation in these very trying times. We will continue to provide updates as circumstances change and until these unprecedented times are behind us.
On March 5th Coltene Inc. celebrated a milestone achievement - 1500 days without a lost time incident. We got together for a catered lunch followed by a presentation from the Akron police department. All associates received a t-shirt to commemorate the event. Thank you for Playing It Safe!
Coltene is committed to helping our employees maintain healthy habits! As of 11/30/2018 the beverage machine in the lunchroom now only contains zero calorie beverages or 100% fruit juices. In addition, the prices on all these items have been lowered by 20 cents each. To your wellness!
