Just a year ago, Brooke Lesko joined the DCS family. While many knew her as the daughter of Michelle, a close friend of our CTO/CSO, Rich Delaney, few were aware of the latent tech genius within her. Initially quiet and observant, Brooke rapidly showcased her innate understanding of complex IT concepts. Her journey into the world of IT began during the COVID pandemic when her college education took an unexpected turn. Undeterred, Brooke immersed herself in online IT courses from Google, revealing a budding interest in Networking and Security. One of the standout moments in her early interactions with Rich was her adept explanation of the OSI model, a foundational concept in networking. Such depth of understanding is rare among entry-level candidates and is a testament to Brooke's genuine passion for the field. As Rich often says, true interest in the subject is key to excelling and enjoying IT. This passion is evident in Brooke, making her presence a sheer delight. Brooke has already amassed significant credentials in her short tenure at DCS, including the Microsoft MS100, MS900, and AZ100 certifications.
