La Commissione Europea (DG DEFIS – Defence Industries and Space) ha selezionato nove progetti che vedono la partecipazione della nostra azienda, nell’ambito dell’European Defence Funds (EDF) - Work Program 2022. I progetti selezionati quest’anno comprendono attività di Ricerca e Sviluppo nei domini aereo, navale, terrestre, cyber e Spazio. In essi forniamo il nostro contributo grazie alla nostra competenza e capacità di innovazione nell’ Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) e nel campo Cyber. Elettronica goes to Space! We have entered a new strategic business sector with the launch into #space of our first payload "SCORPIO" for Electronic Intelligence activities, with the aim of collecting unclassified data observed on Earth. The launch took place on April 14 from the Vanderberg space station in California, thanks to the collaboration with the company D-Orbit, a space logistics company providing the "satellite-taxi" and put into orbit by SpaceX's Falcon 9 launcher. "We are very proud of our arrival in this new domain. The particular experience that derives from the application of skills in the EMSO sector in the space domain, represents a strategic resource for Italy's technological sovereignty in an area that is increasingly crucial for defense and security, including in the civilian sector”.
