As of April, 2023, Edgio has launched its Advanced Bot Management solution that can detect and mitigate various bot attacks while providing visibility into good bots. The solution utilizes machine learning to differentiate between good and bad bots by analyzing signature and behavioral fingerprinting data. The agentless solution does not require any code changes or SDK integrations and supports web and mobile apps as well as API endpoints. The solution can be deployed in minutes and is infrastructure and network agnostic. Edgio's Advanced Bot Management also supports granular policy controls, providing users with multiple actions to respond to bot traffic. The solution is part of Edgio's multi-layered security portfolio, which includes DDoS Protection, Origin Shield, Authoritative DNS, TLS Encryption, and Web Application & API Protection. The pricing model is based on the number of bot management policies, not on request volume or traffic.
