Rabina Silwal has been a Tier 2 Customer Experience Engineer at Elementor for nearly three years. Here are ten things she chose to share with us recently: 🇵🇹 I’m originally from Nepal and now live in Lisbon, Portugal 🐣 I’m a new mom, and I find my job really helpful in balancing the overwhelming experience 🧐 I’m genuinely interested in and enjoy troubleshooting websites, giving our users answers to their problems 💎 I learn something new from every interaction with our users. The most precious things come from the most challenging experiences 👾 My favorite part of the job is that the WordPress world is always changing, and I get to work in a very dynamic environment. Elementor getting into website hosting is super exciting for me 🤩 Our product brings people together. When I wear my E t-shirt, and people on the streets of Lisbon recognize the company - it makes me very proud 👩💻 I want to learn front-end development. The combination of what the user sees and the code that enables it is fascinating Read the full post on Elementor Life Facebook page
Kobi Zaltzberg, Tech Lead in our Cloud team, is currently celebrating seven years as a developer at Elementor, and has been with the company since just before its founding. That’s no small matter when it comes to a startup that has grown at such a meteoric pace. It requires tremendous passion for the field, a deep understanding of the product’s meaning for users around the world, and an optimal fit with the company’s DNA. “Unlike some other high-tech companies, we have a real product. Ariel and Yoni, the company’s founders, based this journey on a real pain point they wanted to solve. This isn’t entrepreneurship for its own sake. It’s people with experience in the field who knew what had to be done to solve a pain shared by many people in the world. It’s something unique and meaningful, and I can see the added value it brings to our users’ lives.” Read the full interview on our Elementor Life Global Facebook page.
Udi Dollberg is Fullstack Tech Lead in the group that develops the Editor, Elementor’s core product that all our users work with: “We develop new features, fix bugs, and create widgets. 👾 I began my journey at Elementor as a programmer, and now I’m a tech lead. I still write code, but I do a lot of other interesting things as well - code review for developers, leading projects, writing and editing product documentation, and tech support for teams.” You could say I fell in love with programming because it opened up a whole world where I can do anything I imagine. Making things happen, building from scratch, creating something from nothing - that’s what drew me to programming. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s the importance of eye-to-eye communication. Both in leading teams, and in life in general, it’s an approach that is appreciated because it doesn’t create a sense of arrogance or separation." #ThePeopleofElementor “I was good at academic studies; otherwise, I'd probably be a famous cricketer or Badmingtoner today.” 🏏🏸 Saransh started working at Elementor three and a half years ago as a Technical Support Engineer: “I was a freelance WordPress developer, very active in the Elementor Facebook community when I found out there is an open role that will allow me to continue helping users (as I was doing anyway), but doing so from within the company. As a start-up, Elementor appealed to me because it offered the best opportunity for professional advancement.” After being promoted to Tier 2 Customer Experience Shift Manager, Saransh is now responsible for managing APAC regional staff to meet support inquiry volumes across all channels. He is based in India: “I live in an amazing part of the country where the food is on a different level” and identifies as conservative and introverted: “I found comfort in Elementor because the people here encourage me to express myself freely. I guess that’s why I’ve been working here for so long.” Click below to read the full story:
